I am propowerlifter from Finland. In addition to training I have the METAL Gym and the company, which designs and sells gym equipment and powerlifting gear.
Into my little, but lively, family belongs my wife Minna, my wonderful daughters Mimmi and Doris. All my extra spare time I spend with my family in the countryside. I am also interested in motorsport.
I have competed in IPF years 1989 - 1996 in the weight class 242 lbs. I won 1993 European Championships and in the same year I got silver medal in the Worlds. Since 1997 I have competed in WPC, weight class 275 lbs. I have won four times the European Championships and also four times the World Championships. Since 2001 I've been competing mainly in WPO. 2002 I won the WPO final, heavyweight class.
